Project: Lovers & Enemies
A story about love& hate, money& power, about the rich and the poor and their intrigues and dramas.
An interactive performance inspired by worldwide known soap-operas.
The set up is installed on the street for four days. During this period, different men and women selected from the passers-by are invited to play a role. They will present themselves and their characters. The plot is developed by introducing the cast rather than telling a story. The lines are basic and stereotypical, they give little but teasing information in order to make the viewer create his/her own connections and make his/her own story. The result is a video named "Lovers & Enemies" - a sequence of three episodes. An ironic comment to the contemporary soap operas dealing with the same aesthetic, emotional and moral issues, no matter the origin of the country they were created.
