Ola Rzążewska – journalist, reporter, co-founder and deputy president of the Koncentrat association. Worked for “Gazeta Wyborcza”, contributed with reportages to “Polityka” and “Zwierciadło”. Hosted shows in the Polish Radio and commercial radio stations in Lodz. Likes wandering around unfamiliar cities, since it allows her to see how people really live and what makes them happy. Enjoys travelling by air, especially the moment when the plane takes off from the airstrip.
Robert Pruszczyński – literature expert, film reviewer, culture manager, Ph.D. in humanities. Runs creative writing workshops, classes with students and co-operates with Roman Gutek’s New Horizons. He is convinced that one has to develop for themselves but should let others notice that as well.
Project: THE KNOT or creative writing astray
It’s true that playing with fire can be dangerous and stoke restless imagination. But it is only playing with words that can allow to feel what passion, fiery feelings and a spark of talent really are.
Deriving inspiration from totally failed literary attempts, which, however, found their publishers and made their way onto our shelves, from our own imagination, emotions, dreams, letters found after ages, childhood photos and maps of Warsaw, we will try to create our own stories. We give a warm welcome to all that’s unfortunate, to language flaws and structural mistakes caused by fault. We will play with form, mould lives of our protagonists, rectify their choices and enjoy our own company.
We invite to two-hour writing workshop all those who: want to take a closer look at their emotions and break away from daily routine by doing something unconventional; would like to have a taste of what they have been reading about so far in psychological handbooks under the label “personal development”; have a sense of humour, distance to their own selves and want to spend time in a circle of people who look at the world in not so serious a manner; have always been writing secretly or the reverse – have never tried writing but would like to start.
