Biography
Mania Wierzbicka – sociologist, graduated from Institute of Applied Social Sciences at the Univeristy of Warsaw and Gender Studies at the Polish Academy of Science. She's writing her PhD thesis on Polish feminism and its discourse, she conducts a workshop on cultural animation. She conducted research in Mathare slums in Nairobi and in Licheń Sanctuary. She loves Mokotów district and 2nd Avenue, she collects devotional articles and she enjoys the most cycling around Warsaw and spending time with her two dogs - Mela and Pippi.
