Biography
ARI BENJAMIN MEYERS has conducted opera and world premieres, has played in various rock bands, has composed operas as well as music for theater, film, and dance, and started Club Redux, a series of club events featuring Redux Orchestra, bringing modern music into the Berlin club scene and beyond. Born 1972 in New York, his musical training in piano, composing, and conducting includes studies at The Juilliard School, a B.A. (cum laude) from Yale University, and a M.M. from Peabody Conservatory. He came to Berlin in 1996 on a Fulbright Scholarship. For the production Il Tempo del Postino as part of the inaugural 2007 Manchester International Festival he worked closely with a number of leading visual artists including Matthew Barney, Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster.
CLARA MEISTER came to Berlin for her curatorial studies in 2002 and is working for numerous international artist studios such as Janet Cardiff + George Bures Miller, Elmgreen & Dragset and Anri Sala and various institutions such as the Haus der Kunst in Munich, for which she is working since 2001. Currently a PHD student at the Humboldt University in Berlin she has published for artist catalogues and art magazines and curates exhibitions and discussion programs.
THOMAS MAYER moved to Berlin in 2003 for studying arts management in Berlin/Potsdam. Since then he is working for diverse projects between the categories of music, art and film and collaborates with international composers, artists and musicians. His experience in conceiving and producing projects ranges from Live-projects like Zukunftsmusik Beethoven, Passion123 (Bach-Monteverdi-Berg), to Internet operas, installations and performances like Parsifal-Displacement or Feldman interactive.
