<big>Biography</big>
Katarzyna Jaskiewicz is an interdisciplinary artist, performer and dancer. Also creating videoart, scenarios, directing and working on choreography. Since 2005 she makes multimedia performances in which a main figure is a Man – conciousness developing in the Universe. Performances of Katarzyna with abstract and multidimentional subjects usually demand special, non-linear plot. These experiments form an interaction of artist and audience but also of a place they are taking (a river and a bridge over it) and time: conjunctions and oppositions of planets, and cascades of havens in subworlds of the Maya calendar. Qualities and concept of these experiments are introduced in a form of video-art projections, while the dance is generating energy.
The sound/music layer of the performances were created in cooperation with various bands and musicians such as Sudnik, Kiniorski, Makaruk, Blas!K, Turczynowicz, Luka Hołuj, Piotr Michałowski «WEF», Rh+, Mystic Break Masters.
