Project: "Nosing Around in a Problem-District"

We will talk on the walk about the district as an artist-area, that began in the fifties already, now the new so called "creatives" push the artist out slowly, after they have taken over the

rooms of the little factories in Kreuzberg and turned them into lofts. And not to forget some of the biggest German squatting-objects, which we will pass on our walk. We are still in Transition there: Factories become lofts, the workers are grounding, artists and turks move out of the district, and creatives move in. All that we will see by examples and talk about.
